Rangeholder

Rangeholder tells you which of your phone numbers will port, before you sign.

Published numbering rules and carriers’ written answers decide what ports. A classifier reads your call records and sorts the live numbers from the dormant ones.

The product emails you one real row: the number, its label, whether it moves, and the sentence that decided it.

The Rangeholder number list for one site: 291 numbers will move, 17 are waiting on a carrier and 4 will not move, each row with its label and status

The objection

Our provider handles the port. Isn't that what the contract is for?

It is, once you have signed.

Worktual’s clause 9.2 looks into a port only after a written request.

Clause 13.1 renews the minimum term by itself. Clause 14.2 charges you for leaving early.

So you find out on cutover day: four numbers won’t move, and two providers are billing you.

Detail

Three deadlines, all on our side of the work

We can’t promise how fast a carrier replies, so we don’t.

$7,400

per site per year. No setup or per-number fees.

  1. 022 working daysfrom your files to every number answered
  2. 032 working daysfrom your signed letter to a request ready for approval
  3. 041 working dayfrom a carrier’s reply to your list

Process

Three files, one signature, and your own porting lead

Day one is a spreadsheet hunt.

The review screen for one unclear number: the label it came with, how often it is called, a suggested status and three buttons for the operations manager
  1. 01Send three filesyour numbers spreadsheet, your provider’s last bill, 90 days of call records.
  2. 02Review the unclear onesthe classifier suggests a status, your ops manager confirms. Two to three hours for 300 numbers.
  3. 03Sign one letteryour porting lead approves each request, and Rangeholder sends it.
  4. 04Lock a versionyour cutover baseline, as PDF and CSV.

Your number list

One row per number, and what decided it

If nobody has answered yet, the row says so.

Six numbers, two working days after the last file came in.

A sample list, not a customer's. An unclear label always goes to a person, never to a guess.

The classifier

Which numbers still carry calls? A classifier suggests, from 90 days of usage.

Every status your ops manager confirms goes back into training, with no calling numbers or call records attached.

01

Status classifier - weighs a number's old label against 90 days of usage and suggests live, dormant, fax or modem, or outbound-only

02

Matching - an embedding model suggests when three files describe one line

03

Never the porting answer - that comes only from a published rule or a carrier's letter

04

Your ops manager - confirms each suggestion, row by row. Below the fixed score, the row stays unclear and the list can't lock.

Compared with Worktual

Worktual sells the whole package. We answer one question.

A choice

We never take money from providers

You pay us, so no provider can.

Our list is valuable to the provider trying to win you. If one paid us, every green row would look like a sales pitch.

Nobody else has a reason to want a row to read a certain way.

Fit

Best bought before you sign

Before signature, the list is something to bargain with.

This is for you if

  • ✓Your contact center contract is drafted but not signed
  • ✓Several sites or a few hundred numbers, UK or US
  • ✓Someone on your team can spend an afternoon on the unclear numbers

This is not for you if

  • ✕You already switched and want lost numbers back
  • ✕One main number and a dozen lines. One request settles that.
  • ✕You are a reseller or carrier looking for a data feed

What we decline

A checked list of numbers, and no part of the call path

What we decline

06 boundaries

  • in scope01One row per number, built from your spreadsheet, bill and call records.
  • in scope02Every number checked against published UK and US numbering data.
  • in scope03A dated list you lock as your cutover baseline.
  • we don't01We carry no calls: your carrier or Azure Communication Services does.
  • we don't02We don’t run your contact center. No queues, IVR or CRM.
